Dr. Jacob Langer trained in general surgery and paediatric surgery at the University of Toronto. He practiced pediatric surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, before returning to Toronto as the Chief of General and Thoracic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in 1999. Over his long career as a pediatric surgeon and as a mohel he has performed thousands of circumcisions and has taught circumcision techniques to hundreds of physicians and surgeons.
